Tamra Bhasma or Copper Ash is an Ayurvedic treatment made from a proportionate mixture of Copper Sulphate and herbs, which is left overnight in an earthen pot. During this process, the blue Copper Sulphate converts into a Silver colour, which lends a luminescent gleam to the skin.

In Ayurveda, Tamra Bhasma has traditionally been prescribed to treat many health issues ranging from Asthma to Heart Disease and skin concerns. It is known as Ushna which means of hot potency, is Katu or pungent, and has Kashaya (Astringent), Amal (Sour), Madhura (Sweet) and Tikta (Bitter) properties. Tamra Bhasma is known to be a miraculous anti-aging ingredient and to make the skin glow.
