The super hydrating and moisture-rich fruit, “Litchi Chinensis” belongs to the Sapindaceae family and is well-known in the Indian system of Ayurveda for its traditional uses. Due to its ayurvedic properties like Snighdha (moisture-rich) and laghu (light), it becomes one of the most favorable ingredients for the skincare requirements.

Litchi juice has a generous amount of biochemical constituents such as polyphenols, oligonol, beta-carotene, Vitamin C, and other antioxidants. It has high water content which makes litchi a great source of hydration for the skin, as it restores its moisture content. A powerful compound “oligonol”, which is present in litchis, protects the skin from UV light and free radicals that can damage the skin cells. With its anti-oxidant properties, it stimulates the skin cells and improves the blood flow to the deeper layers of the skin.
